The Washington State Work Study Program
This program allows local employers to hire eligible Highline
students into part-time jobs while getting reimbursed up to 65%
of the student's wages. The job must be related to the
student's course of study (example: someone studying Business
Technology working in an office environment).

Programs.
Under State Work Study, a student may work up to 19 hours per
week while classes are in session. The average award amount
allows a student to work 14-16 hours per week. State Work
Study jobs pay wages comparable to entry wages for non State Work
Study employees. Wages for these positions average between $9
and $14 per hour.
The paperwork is minimal. Contact Diana Baker at
206-878-3710 ext. 6026 (or dibaker@highline.edu) for more
information.
