Instructions: You have 20-30 minutes. In pairs sit across from each other. Do not talk. When told to do so, answer the 10 questions listed below without help from your partner. Guess on questions you do not know. Correct answers are NOT important. Write down what you think. When you finish the 10 questions, talk to the other person about your answers. Tell them why you answered the way you did. (For example: tell them why you think pizza is their favorite food. Why did you think that?) After you tell them your guess, they will give you the correct answer.

Thoughtful considerations:
What did you base your perceptions on? What cues did you use? (Age? Gender? Race? Nationality?) How sure were you of your responses? How accurate were you? Were you surprised at the other person’s perceptions of you? Explain.
