I work in the Technical Services Department of the library as a cataloging specialist.
One of my specific jobs in the Library is as the Serials Technician. This means that I am responsible for ordering and processing all of the periodicals in the library, with direction from the acquisitions librarian. This includes journals, magazines, newspapers and newsletters, microfilm, CD-ROM, and e-serials.
I also teach a 3 credit class on Serials Management. For more information check out the Library & Information Services Program
