Website Evaluation Worksheet 

Instructions: You must turn in this sheet (completely filled out) for any website/web page you use as a reference in your paper. Attach this form to your paper.  If you use two web pages you need two forms; three web pages, three forms, etc. 

 1.      Name of organization, company, institution, etc. producing the website.

 

 2.      URL  (complete “address”)

 

3.      Author (not webmaster) name and e-mail:

  

4.      What expertise does the group creating the page have?  Be specific.

  

5.      What is the purpose of the website?  (To educate, inform, persuade, sell, etc.)

  

6.      What bias, if any, is present in the content of the website?

7.      When was the website last updated?

 

8.      Are there links to relevant sites? Are these links up to date?  Give an example.
