Highline Community College Faculty Senate Meeting of May 7, 2008

Members Present:  Ruth Frickle, Jack Harton, Shannon Proctor, Glen Avantaggio,  Darryl Brice,  Mike Armstrong, Rosemary Adang, John Dunn, Jeff Wagnitz, Kate Bligh, Eena Hibbs.

Called to order at 3:05.

Minutes of the April 16^th meeting are considered and approved.

Kate Bligh reports that recent changes to the waitlist procedures were made in Instructional Cabinet.   Responses should go to Instructional Cabinet through division chairpersons.

It is reiterated that all parties are interested in maintaining lines of communication concerning changes to registration and waitlist procedures.  

The new Student Rights and Responsibilities document is now in print.

Jeff Wagnitz reports that the Common Course Numbering system will be implemented at Highline by Fall 2009.   More information and guidelines will be coming.
