Welcome to Ruth Frickle's Psychology 120 web page. 

About Psychology 120

This course is recommended for non-Psychology majors.  It is a class that explores, in a very applied way, how we develop into the people we are, how we can make changes and how we shape and are shaped by our relationships with others.  I've been teaching this class since 1992 and I really enjoy introducing students to the usefulness of psychology in our everyday lives.

• "In Their Own Words" is a series from the public radio station KUOW that was broadcast in the winter of 2003.  It is a series of radio interviews with people about how race has affected their lives.  Each interview is with a different person, each with different circumstances, but all of them are wonderful illustrations of the issues and experiences related to racial identity development.
