The Physical
Education department is committed to providing our students with the
knowledge, skills, and resources needed to establish and maintain
healthy life-style behaviors, and to increase quality and years of
healthy life.
Our courses
and facilities are designed to help students achieve the following
important health outcomes;

health and wellness knowledge based on scientific research.

assumptions, issues, and arguments related to health and
well-being.

Be able
to draw logical conclusions related to health.

Assess
personal health status.

Design
and implement a multi-dimensional health plan which includes
generating and tracking health data.

Communicate health and wellness concepts.

Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the relationships
between personal, community, and global health issues.

health information using textual and electronic resources, and
be able to evaluate the information's validity and reliability.
