These calendar boxes with dates in them are SUGGESTED DATES ONLY to give you an idea of pace.  Some of you will be ahead of them, some behind.  BUT, THERE ARE REGULAR  DUE DATES SHOWN IN BOLD AFTER WHICH WORK WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT. 

There are two types of due dates, 

1.  Dates by which you must take homework quizzes and achievement tests on Black board (usually at the beginning of the week)  

                 and

2.  Dates by which your work must be in my hands whether e-mail (most of it), fax, or snail mail (usually on a Saturday)

BEWARE, THIS IS DECEPTIVE—BECAUSE SO MUCH TIME IS GIVEN TO GET WORK TO ME, OTHER CHAPTERS HAVE BEGUN.  THE DROP DEAD DATES ARE TO GIVE THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE EMERGENCIES OR WHATEVER TO GET CAUGHT UP AND GET CREDIT.  YOU SHOULD BE STAYING WELL AHEAD OF DROP DEAD DATES IN ORDER TO FINISH “COMFORTABLY.”

THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO ALL HOMEWORK AUDIT TESTS AND ACHIEVEMENT TESTS:  After checking, correcting, and understanding your homework,  go to Blackboard Announcements and click on link to the Homework Audit Quiz for the chapter.  WITH YOUR COMPLETE, CORRECT HOMEWORK IN YOUR HAND, ANSWER THE QUESTIONS POSED on Blackboard.  Do not go “check it out first” because Blackboard believes you are taking the test and will lock up and not let you back in.  THEN, you need to e-mail or call me to reset it which I will do no more than ONCE per person.

BLACKBOARD WILL CHECK AND RECORD FOR YOU.  If you don’t follow directions and make an error in format (Blackboard checks character by character), e-mail me and request specific chapter and question for me to check.
