About the
Program
How the program works:
All MED A curriculum is designed in self-paced modules. This is a
non-traditional program. You will not have classroom lecture or an
instructor giving you days or time for tests or due dates for
assignments. However, you will have an instructor available to
answer questions, proctor your tests and/ or help you in any way
that you may need. Time and days of attendance is set by you, the
student. You must complete the modules you are enrolled in by the
end of each quarter.
You will be provided with a module packet for each class which
contains the course syllabus identifying pertinent information
related to the course, (student learning objectives, performance
objectives, course outline) and a module checklist.
Medical Assisting students must attend hands-on demonstration
scheduled at the beginning of each quarter. Assessment of skills is
scheduled and evaluated at the end of each quarter.
