Air Quality Matters in Our Region


Although the Pacific Northwest is on the verge of achieving attainment of the National Ambient Air Quality Standards, air pollution continues to be the number one environmental threat in our region. Air pollution is a significant problem that causes adverse impacts on public health and the environment. Mr. Stedman will characterize the sources and types and of air pollution in our region. Information on the health effects associated with exposure to these air pollutants as well as the impacts on the environment will also be discussed.
