Understanding Tsunamis and Earthquakes


On December 26, 2004 the world witnessed the incredibly destructive power of a tsunami triggered by a subduction zone earthquake. We in the Pacific Northwest also live in an active subduction, and it is only a matter of time before we experience a similar earthquake. Come learn the underlying geology of these catastrophic events and how we can deal with them.
