Learning at MaST: Science on the Sound
The Science on the Sound Speaker Series sponsored by Highline
Community College's Marine Science and Technology (MaST) Center.
Science on the Sound brings in local, regional, and national experts twice a month to discuss issues relevant to the Puget Sound and the region at large.
Topics cover a variety of issues but have included: Environmental toxins, Life in the Puget Sound, voluntary simplicity, Des Moines Shoreline Management Plan, Water quality of Hood Canal, Regional solutions to Global Warming, and many others.
