The Science on the Sound Speaker Series sponsored by
Highline Community College's Marine Science and Technology
(MaST) Center.
Science on the Sound brings in local,
regional, and national experts twice a month to discuss
issues relevant to the Puget Sound and the region at large.
Topics cover a variety of issues but have included: Environmental toxins, Life in the Puget
Sound, voluntary simplicity, Des Moines Shoreline Management
Plan, Water quality of Hood Canal, Regional solutions to
Global Warming, and many others.
