We have several different kinds of barcode scanners here in the
library. There are several options that you can configure to make
these scanners work better for you! Configuring these options is
easy. Select the model of scanner that you are using, print out the
configuration barcodes and scan the barcode for the option that you want
to change.
Setting up your Symbol LS1000 or LS1006 Barcode Scanner
Beep
after Successful Scan
Beeper Volume
Suffix
Scanning the following barcode will clear any characters that have been
programmed to be added at the end of every scan.
Scanning the following barcode will add a CR (Carrage Return) at the end of
every scan.
Reset to Manufacturer
defaults.
Scanning the SET ALL DEFAULTS bar code returns all
parameters to the default values as delivered from the manufacturer.
