• You will need two usernames and two passwords to access Blackboard and OWL. 

• Blackboard Student Username: The first seven (7) letters of your first name and the first seven (7) letters of your last name.
  • If either your first or last name is shorter than 7 letters, then we will use as many letters as are in your name.
  • If your name is hyphenated or has other punctuation in it, the punctuation will not be used.

  Initial Blackboard Password: The first four (4) letters of your last name, all lowercase, and the last four (4) numbers of your SID (Student ID), or EID (Employee ID).

  • If your last name is shorter than 4 letters, then your entire last name will be used.
  • Due to the Blackboard 7 upgrade, all student users are set to the default password. Your password from previous quarters will not work.
  • If your email address is correct in the system, you may use the "Forgot Password?" link above to reset your password.

   

• For OWL you will be asked to select a username and password when you register. It might be a good idea to select the same username and password that will be used for Blackboard.
