Welcome to Chemistry 150!
 

This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Inorganic Chemistry. It is intended primarily for allied health majors and for students needing to fulfill a general science requirement. Chemistry 121 is a part of a two quarter sequence that is followed by Chemistry 122 (Organic and Biochemistry). Course topics include atomic structure, molecular shape, intermolecular forces, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, acids and bases, nuclear reactions, solutions, gas laws, and equilibrium. This course is primarily on-line and will consist of completing on-line homework using the OWL program, on-line quizzes, and engaging in on-line discussions with both the instructor and peers.
