 Information & Visual Literacy Integrated Courses

Faculty at Highline are developing courses that intentionally incorporate information and visual literacy as a key part of their curriculum:

Fall 2007

  • Film Studies 107 - Society in Film: "Hearing what you See" (Kim) - In this course, we will examine the various aspects of cinematic sound in all its forms. Part of the discussion will certainly focus on the more "obvious" elements of sound (such as the musical and sound effects), but we will also be looking at the more nuanced ways in which sound shapes the cinematic experience.
