Outlook/Email - Sample Out of Office Messages
You can alert people who are sending you
e-mail messages and calling you that you are not in the office, and give them helpful advice.
You can do this in voice mail, and email.

Sample messages are below.
Copy, paste, and edit this sample "out
of office" message:
I will be out of the office from ____ until ____. I'll be
checking email _______(once a week, every day, etc)________, but will have limited ability to respond. If you
need immediate assistance or information about the program, please see the
program's web
site at http://flightline.highline.edu/_________,
contact _______ at 206-878-3710, ext. ____, or by email at _____@highline.edu.
You can
also add a line like:
If you are a new
student and want to know what courses to register for, consider _______ and
_______. You can register online at http://www.highline.edu/.
And use similar messages on your phone voice
mail:
Hello, you've reached _______, in the
______________ program. I'm out of the office on break until _____, but
will be checking messages ________(never, daily, occasionally)______. If you need immediate assistance
or information about the program, please see the program web site at flightline.highline.edu/___________, or contact _______ at 206-878-3710, ext. ____.
Otherwise, I'll return your call as soon as I can.
