Accessing Your M Drive in Building 29 Technology Classrooms

The computer at the instructor console in a technology-equipped classroom in Building 29 is set up to allow you to quickly map to your M drive where you can access your own files. You do not have to log in to do this.

  1. Click on the Start button in the bottom left of the screen.

  1. At the top of the pop-up menu, select “Staff Drives, Email and Apps” and follow the fly-out menu to the right to “Map M Drive.”
  2. Select the appropriate group and fill in the login boxes that pop up: first your Highline username, then password. Your username and password are the same as your Highline login at your desktop. Once you have entered your password, the login boxes will disappear.
  3. Double click the “My Computer” icon on the upper left of the desktop. You should see your M drive listed and be able to open it.

Note that at the “Staff Drives, Email and Apps” menu option you can find other Highline links as well: Reflection, and Highline Email Web Access (HEWA).
