Group Work
Student homepages, blogs, and wikis are excellent means for students to get to
know each other and to work together. Students might also want to
exploit social networking and sharing sites: Del.icio.us for sharing
collected links to web sites (bookmarks); online applications for word
processing or spreadsheets (e.g. writely.com); photo and video sharing;
even MySpace or Facebook for a private place to meet. Blackboard
facilitates Groups that can have private email, discussion board, and
even synchronous chat.
