CWU-DES MOINES STUDENTS:
WHAT ARE MY INSTRUCTIONAL COMPUTING STUDENT USERNAME & PASSWORD?

Instructional Computing (IC) Lab Usernames

For all CWU-Des Moines student users of Instructional Computing resources in the HEC (Bldg 29) or ICC (Bldg 30), your username will match your CWU student account username. Your username will be confirmed for you during the account activation process described in the following paragraph. If you need additional assistance determining your username, please inquire at the HEC Tech Office (29-114) or at the Help Desk in the ICC (Bldg 30). You must present your student ID to get assistance with your username.

Account Activation

Your account for logging in to computers in IC labs requires an account activation. Accounts will be available for activation on the first day of each quarter, or if registering after the start of the quarter, the following morning after the information is provided to IC by CWU staff. You will need to provide several pieces of identifying information, and will then be allowed to set your initial password. You may activate your account at https://myinfo.highline.edu, or by logging in to any lab workstation with the username myinfo, password myinfo and following the activation instructions.

Passwords

IC account passwords are set during the account activation process described above. Passwords must meet the Highline Password Standard, and will expire every 110 days. You may change your password at any time by logging in to https://myinfo.highline.edu. If you have forgotten your password, you may reset it by repeating the account activation process described above.

Please be aware that IC accounts are for your use only, and you are not to share your username and password with anyone else under any circumstances. You must also log out of your account each time you are done using a computer. As the owner of the account, you will be held responsible for any violations of ICC rules which occur using your account, which could result in suspension of your account and loss of IC privileges. CWU Resources

CWU student resources can be accessed through the Wildcat Connection at https://portal.cwu.edu. Although your username will be the same, these resources use a different password at this time. To set or change your CWU password, please go to https://kothar.cts.cwu.edu/novpass/. For additional help with CWU resources, please see the ITS Helpdesk at http://www.cwu.edu/~helpdesk/, email helpdesk@cwu.edu, or call (509) 963-2001.
