ICHELP

HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR myHCC ACCOUNT

To activate your myHCC account for accessing IC resources, including IC lab computers aand the Angel learning management system , please follow the instructions below. If you have previously activated your myHCC, please log in to https://myinfo.highline.edu/change with your old password and change your password, you do not need to reactivate.

CWU and Kaplan students please skip to the CWU/Kaplan activation instructions.

To Activate From the Web:

  • Go to https://myinfo.highline.edu/
  • Choose Activate myHCC Account
  • Enter your SID, Activation Code, and type the two words displayed in the Re-Captcha window, then click Next
  • Choose and confirm your username, enter your new password, provide us with a contact email address, and click Next . Please note that all passwords must comply with the Highline Community College Password Policy. Check marks will appear next to each item when they are complete.
  • Choose and answer two security questions. Please be patient while your account is activated as it may take several minutes to activate. When the activation is completed, the Next button will appear and you may click on it. DO NOT REFRESH OR RELOAD THIS PAGE WHILE YOUR ACCOUNT IS ACTIVATING.
  • You will see a confirmation page with your IC username displayed. A confirmation email will also be sent to you. You may now access IC resources using your new myHCC account.

From IC Labs:

  • Activate your account from a MyInfo Kiosk. Kiosks are available at the Bldg 30 help desk, and at several locations in Bldg 29. At the kiosk, follow the instructions above.

    ~ OR ~

  • Log in to any lab workstation as the user myinfo, with a password of myinfo.
  • You will be taken to the MyInfo login page. Choose the Activate myHCC Account link and follow the instructions above.
  • Close the browser and log out of the workstation. You may now access IC resources using your account.

CWU and Kaplan Students

  • Go to https://myinfo.highline.edu/
  • Choose CWU and Kaplan Student Activation
  • Enter your SID, Zip Code (from your offical mailing address on file), and birth date, and click Next.
  • Enter and confirm your email address, and enter and confirm your new password, and click Activate. Please note that all passwords must comply with the Highline Community College Password Policy.
  • You will see a confirmation page with your IC username displayed. A confirmation email will also be sent to you. You may now access IC resources using your account.

 


If you receive an error message or need additional assistance changing any of these passwords, please contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@highline.edu, call at 206/870-4880 (x4357 on campus), or ask for help at the Building 30 Help Desk.
