Transfer Honors at
Eastern Washington University is for students
with a 3.7 GPA who are Community College students with an
Associates' Degree or are college/university students who have
completed their general core requirements.
Eastern Washington University offers more than 100 undergraduate
degree programs, from the major liberal arts and sciences to the
professional programs. Honors works closely with all of them. We
take pride in the academic opportunities available at Eastern.
All students in the program are encouraged to take advantage of the
many academic, cultural and social activities and opportunities
offered through Honors at Eastern including: undergraduate research
presentations at regional and national conferences; the annual
Spring Break Outing to Europe; hikes and other outdoor activities;
Honors Internships; plays, concerts, museum visits locally and in
other cities.
Each Honors Transfer student admitted to the Program receives a
$2,500 award which is renewable for the senior year with a 3.7 GPA.
