Tutoring Center
Questions:

Where can students get help with math?
Answers:

At the Tutoring Center, 26-319, ext. 3444

What does tutoring cost the student?

The cost-free service is available to all students who are currently enrolled.

What are the hours of the Tutoring Center?

See current schedule.

Can students drop-in for tutoring, or do they need to make appointments?

Drop-in math tutoring is available during all hours that the center is open.

What if a student needs individual help?

One-on-one tutoring may be arranged.

Rental Calculator
Questions:

How much does a rental graphing calculator cost?
Answers:

$20 per quarter

What is the procedure for renting a calculator?

Pay rental at the cashier's office (Building 6).
Submit receipt to the instructor (building 18, room 110) and pick up the calculator from him.

When must the calculator be returned?

The calculator must be returned to the instructor upon withdrawal from class, or on the day of the final exam. 

The screen of the calculator is very light.  What can be done?

Try darkening the screen by pressing and releasing [2nd], and then pressing and holding the up arrow.  

If that doesn't work because the batteries are low, have those batteries replaced by Diana Lee (building 18, room 209) free of charge.

 

Child Care
Questions:

What age children are eligible?
Answers:

16 months to 5 years (not in kindergarten)

What are the hours of the Child Care Development Center?

8 am to 10 pm (Mon through Thu)
8 am to 4 pm (Fri)
Extended hours beyond classroom time is available to meet parents' needs.

Where is the child care center?

In Building 18A.  Call Sheri Turley (ext. 3224) for more information or to register.
