your interest in the Graphic Production Program.
The Graphic Production Program at Highline Community College is
comprehensive and flexible. Students receive training in job
engineering, production management, electronic copy preparation,
including file pre-flight, imagesetting, negative assembly, offset
press operation, bindery, and equipment maintenance.
Program graduates earn an Associate in Applied Science Degree (2
years) or a Certificate of Completion (1 year ) in Offset Printing.
Graduates have been successful finding employment in the printing
industry as press operators, pre-press technicians, bindery workers,
sales representatives, and managers.
The program usually begins fall quarter; however, entry is
possible at the beginning of any quarter. Admission is open to any
student with permission of the Program Coordinator.
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide students in the Graphic Production Program with superior
educational opportunities and to help them develop the knowledge,
skills, and standards necessary for a productive and meaningful
career in the printing industry.

To become the finest instructional printing facility in the
Northwest.
