Parent Education

Parent education includes classes for parents/guardians of children age 6 months through age five years, classes for parents participating in a Highline Community College Cooperative Preschool, and classes for parents of school-age children and youth.

Parent/Child Classes

Parent/Child classes are available for parents with infants and toddlers. Classes are designed to provide an appropriate and stimulating environment for the young child with an opportunity for parent participation in the classroom and in discussion groups. Discussion topics center on child development, parenting techniques and family relationships. Class placement is determined by the child's age.
