WEST-B Preparation - If you want to
become a certified teacher...
Students planning on
entering Teacher Education programs are now required to take - and pass
- the Washington Educator Skills Test - Basic in order to be accepted at
any 4-year college in the state.
The WEST-B measures reading, mathematics,
and writing skills and is based on the basic skills and understanding
required for teachers to be successful in their educator preparation
programs.
