I'm new to Highline
Are you ready for Distance Learning?
Distance Learning is different from regular classes. There
are no fixed times when you have to be in class, but there is no
one reminding you when your assignments are due. Also, all of
your assignments will be handed in on a computer. There are
regularly scheduled assignments throughout the quarter.

When you register for classes, you can search for Highline
Online, Hybrid, and WAOL courses.

Get Online
Most Highline Online and Highline Hybrid classes are conducted
with Highline's Blackboard. You will need to log in to that system
to do your class work.
Email Addresses Updates
Online Classes
You will receive an email or surface mail letter from your
instructor prior to the first day of classes. This letter will
include information about how to get started in the class.
IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD from your instructor by the first day
of class, it is your responsibility to contact him/her.
Make sure you purchase your books, set up your computer and
internet connection, and install any additional software before
the first day of classes.
Hybrid Classes
For most Highline Hybrid classes, you will receive
information about the class at the first face-to-face meeting of
the class. If you are not able to make the first class, it is
your responsibility to contact the instructor for information.
