Validators - Check your pages for compatibility

Validators help you check your pages for compatibility with different browsers, code problems, download time, and even spelling errors!

• Web Page Analyzer: Test how fast your page downloads at various bandwidths - dial up modem to T1 lines - and more.
• AnyBrowser: test your site in various versions of browsers - old and new

Accessibility testing

Accessibility sites include information about designing accessible web sites, as well as tools for checking to make sure your pages are usable by all.

• WebXACT: Checks to see that pages comply with ADA and Section 508 Accessibility Guidelines
• Vischeck: Vischeck is useful for testing whether color-blind users can access your sites.
• UW DOIT Videos: DOIT specializes in technology and access for the disabled. Their site has a wealth of information on making resources accessible to all.

Audience statistics can help you determine what technologies are appropriate for use in your site, as well as identify trends in the use of the WWW.
