Cooperative education provides an opportunity for students to combine classroom theory with practical experience gained in the workplace. In addition to the work experience which is related to career goals and major, students participate in a weekly seminar on campus.
200 Intercultural Communication

Speech communication theory and strategies designed to enhance the student's ability to interact with persons from different cultures both within and outside our border.

A study of how relationships function systemically, roles of group members and leaders , multiculturalism and appreciation of diversity, and effective problem-solving skills and conflict management.
213 Presentation Skills

Practical presentation skills in which students develop and deliver a variety of speeches suitable or many settings: job, community, and school. Speaking competence is developed including use of audio-visual materials.
