Program Description These classes will prepare a student to be a working phlebotomist - someone who is trained to collect blood samples in a clinical environment. Program Information I-BEST classes integrate college credit courses with English language and adult basic skills. I-BEST classes include five hours a week of non-credit Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction. Degree Options Short-Term certificate earned in one to two quarters. These credits can also apply to an AAS degree in Medical Assisting at Highline.
