Program Description:
These classes will prepare a student to take the Washington State Nursing Assistant Certification exam.

Program Information:
I-BEST classes integrate college credit courses with English language and adult basic skills. I-BEST classes include five hours a week of non-credit Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction.
 
Degree Options:
Short-Term Certificate earned in one quarter to Nursing Assistant, Certified. These credits can also apply to an AAS degree in Human Services at Highline.

  • This information does not substitute for meeting with a faculty adviser.
  • Students must achieve a minimum grade of 2.0 in each class.
  • Not all classes are offered every quarter.

Testing and Placement
  • Students must attend an I-BEST Nursing Assistant testing and placement session
