Community Access /
Retirement Services
Each individual in Community Access / Retirement Services will be
supported to pursue his or her own unique contribution to
participation in community life. This program is for those
individuals 62 and older who have retired from work. Their
activities will be individualized and based upon each person’s
interests and preferences, focusing on community inclusion and
connections. With consideration for health and end of life issues,
these services should maintain and/or enhance the quality of life
for individuals through participation in the community in which they
live. Through the process of an individual plan the participant can
expect support from the agency to achieve the following outcomes:
-
Presence in the community
-
Leisure and recreational activities
-
Support for maintaining health and safety
-
Rich and inclusive retirement years
