City Partnerships

Highline Community College Community & Employment Services partners with local cities to provide Adult Basic Education. Opportunities include assistance with access to education, including computer technology. Individuals have the opportunity to take classes offered through the park departments or participate in community programs, and are supported in volunteering in a variety of community organizations.

Our city partners are the City of Kent and the City of Federal Way.

Washington State Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)

A division of Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, DDD contracts with King County Developmental Disabilities Division to provide employment services and other services for people with developmental disabilities. State DDD determines eligibility and provides case management, family support, and residential services. Information on eligibility, the waiver program, and how to apply for services are included on this web site.

King County Developmental Disabilities Division (KCDDD)

King County Developmental Disabilities Division, in cooperation with the State Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), assists people with developmental disabilities with day programs. King County DDD contracts with Highline Community College CES to provide employment services, community access opportunities, and community support programs.
