Campus CERT Training - Community Emergency Response Team The primary purpose of this training program is to apply the established CERT model to the college and university environment. Every campus community is a virtual city within a city with many of the same challenges to public health and safety faced by any other community, but also some unique or special risks and vulnerabilities. The goal of this training is to provide basic emergency and disaster training to all campus staff, students and faculty to enhance responses in the event of a disaster or emergency situation. The Campus CERT training for school groups is delivered in 2 1/2 hour sessions, one evening a week over a 7 week period.
