Using a Flightline Web Site to link to BlackBoard
Use your existing faculty site as a "portal." Give students your Flightline address, and have that be the home base for your web presence.
On the site, keep general information about yourself as a Highline instructor on Flightline, and link to your Blackboard courses from there:
- Personal information
- Contact information
- Office Hours and location
- Teaching philosophy and favorite quotes
- Advice for student success
- Links to useful Highline webs
- General links to favorite web sites
- Links to your Blackboard course sites
Use Blackboard to manage grades, discussions, and to link to content. You can even store your content on your Flightline site so that you don't have to recreate and upload it every quarter.
