Using Course Cartridges
Course cartridges are collections of instructional materials, usually created by textbook publishers. The often contain lecture notes, sample handouts, test banks, and other materials that you can use in a class. Most course cartridges can be customized by you. (You have to adopt the textbook in order to get the cartridge).
Download the course cartridge before doing any other work in your course!
To use a course cartridge:
Contact your textbook sales representative and get the Instructor Download Key. (You can also search for the key in the Course Cartridge screen on BlackBoard).
Go to the Course Control Panel, and in the Course Options section (lower left corner), select Import Course Cartridge.
Type in the Key and click Submit.
Within 24 hours, the course cartridge will be downloaded and the materials will be added to your course.
You will receive an email from the cartridge publisher when the installation is complete.
