The Plant Sale at Highline Community College

Every Year, Highline Community College has a huge plant sale during spring quarter--usually in the first weeks in May, depending on the weather. This plant sale is sponsored by the Biology Lab and Gerry Barclay's Biology students. In this class students learn about  plant life by focusing on the growth of flowering plants and vegetables in a variety of environments of the Pacific Northwest. Students grow most of the plants sold at the plant sale, and with volunteer help from staff and faculty, our plant sale has been a success every year.

If you are curious about which plants we might be selling, click on the links above and plan for a wonderful gardening season.

Gerry Barclay's & Angi Caster's coordinated studies course, BIOSHOCK!, will be hosting The 2008 Annual Plant Sale.  Should we expect exciting creations?
