The following seeds have been purchased and plants may be available for purchase at the plant sale--depending on what the students choose to grow.  Descriptions and PHOTOS,  compliments of ParkseeDS and Nichol's Garden Nursery.


   

Bellis perennis (A)
English Daisy Habanera® Red Tips This stunning bicolor is fully double, jammed with needle-thin, swirled petals, and larger than other Bellis. Resembling a sea anemone or exhibition-quality Dahlia, it is a nice way to dress up early spring in containers or the garden!

Calendula (A)

Marigold, Queen Sophia Grows 10-12" high with 2" deep red blossoms with gold edging.

Delphinium (A)

Larkspur, Giant Imperial Mixture Four foot plants with early spikes of flowers. Double flowers with good mix of colors

Dorotheanthus  (A)
Livingstone Daisy,  Harlequin Mix The cheery 1½-inch daisies have a crisp, cool look, with dozens of long, slender petals jammed around a black eye. They face straight up on 6-inch plants, turning ordinary garden spots into mosaics of brilliant color!

Gerbera (A)

Daisy,  Rainbow Mix The Best Garden Gerbera We Know. Huge 5-inch Blooms in 7 Dazzling Colors!

Helianthus (A)

Teddy Bear,  Sunflower, Dwarf plant (2-ft.), loaded with golden 6" fluffly blooms

Sunspot Dwarf,  Sunflower Grows to 2 feet tall with single 10-inch flowers that have large erect seed heads and golden pedals.

Mirabilis (P)

Four-O-Clock,  24 inch plant with luminous 2" flowers. Colors range from white, yellow to rose. Loves sun to part shade.

Osteospermum (A)

Osteospermum,  Asti™ White In bloom these plants measure 18 to 20 inches high, and they grow about 2 feet wide. Sun-loving and very forgiving of harsh conditions, they deserve a place of honor in your garden!
 

Salvia  (A, P, biennial)

Salvia,  Park's Whopper Lighthouse Blooms So Big and Quick they can only be Whoppers!
Sun, part shade, complete shade -- this Salvia thrives in any light!

Pyrethrum James Kelway (Daisy) Velvety Scarlet-and-Gold Daisies Bloom in Spring and Summer!
3-inch blooms on long, strong stems are ideal for cutting!

Tithonia (A)
(Mexican Sunflower)

Vibrant burnt-orange single flowers on long 4-ft. arching stems. Sun loving, drought tolerant.

Salmon Baby

Deep salmon frilly blossoms of solid color. Compact & Edible

Zinnia (A)(State Fair)

Mixed variety of double 4" Dahlia type flowers - shades of red, pink, purple, yellow and orange.

Cosmos, (A) Summer Dream

36" height plant with hot pink surrounding canary yellow center.  Like full sun.

Zinnia, (A) Heirloom Granny's Bouquet

3-3 1/2' mix of Zinnias in different colors and shapes.  Likes full sun.

Zinnia, (A) Cactus Flower - Giant Fantasy

2-3' mix of Zinnias in cherry and lilac colors.  5-6" blooms.  Likes full sun.

Zinnia, (A) Peppermint Stick

2-3' mix of Zinnias.  Looks great in cut arrangements

Mounding Nasturtiums, (A) Cherries Jubilee

10-12" plant with cherry-rose colored mound

Mounding Nasturtiums, (A) Vanilla Bean

Up to 1 foot mound of buttercream colored blossoms with strawberry red etching.

Chocolate cherry Ornamental Sunflower, (A)

Petals are chocolate-burgundy with chocolate center disks; pollen-less.  Prefers sun to partial shade

Coneflower, (P) Green Wizard

This flower will grow 2 to 3 feet with thin green sepals and a giant black cone.  It likes full sun.
Amaranthus, (A) Dreadlocks

Three foot tall upright plants with weeping colorful foliage
