HONORS 299

Course Overview

This capstone honors course, completed at the end of A. A. studies, places Honors Scholar students with a cohort once again, allowing each to focus on an academic area of interest that is then considered from the three different perspectives of Humanities, Social Science, and Math/Science.  As you go through academia, the forces of higher education will make you become more and more narrow in your focus.  This independent study experience and paper asks you to look with a wider lens.  Obviously, you do not need to be all-inclusive, but you do need to focus your 15-20 page paper on specific ways to apply your area of academic interest to each of the broad areas of study.
