About the Fine Art
Program
The Fine Art program is a foundation program designed for transfer to a four year
institution. The foundation experience may accomplish three major purposes:

help the student decide whether or not an art program is right for them
-
help to determine which orientation is right for them in terms of the two or three
dimensional arts or some combination of the two
-
prepare the student through basic skill acquisition for transfer to a four-year art
program.
In-depth pursuit of studio courses as well as support courses in the arts
would take place at a four-year institution.
