Field Trip or
Visit to the MaST
NOTE: Due to
strong demand, all available group visit openings have been filled
through August 2009. Space is currently available starting in
September.
The MaST Center’s classroom
is typically limited to a maximum capacity of 35, with 20-25 being
ideal. Although the aquarium can handle larger groups, this
significantly limits other activities.

The MaST Center is available for groups interested in
exploring topics and issues surrounding the Puget Sound.
Past group visitations have included: classes from Federal
Way and Highline School Districts, other colleges and
universities, daycare facilities, community groups, and
various others. Visits usually last 1-4 hours and can also
be multi-day depending on your needs, for example, a
year-long monitoring project. Since this is a priority for
Highline Community College, there is no cost to your group
for the use of our facility. There are a limited number of
timeslots available, so reservations are required.
Requests typically take 1-2 weeks to process.” |

Please note that school-age and younger must be chaperoned—we
typically advise a ratio of 1 adult per a maximum of 6
students.
