Annual Summer Camp

Summer Camp at the Highline Community College MaST Center

Mark your calendars to use this summer to learn about ecology, geology, oceanography, marine biology, and water quality -

July 14 -18, 2008

  • Find out what it’s like to be a marine scientist.

  • Learn about taking care of the Sound and preserving the beach

  • Interact with a diver via video camera. Actually talk with the diver during the dive!!

  • Our audience are children aged 11 -13 and parents, guardians and grandparents of those children

  • Age Groups - Children aged 11 -13

  • Class Size- 25 students

  • Hours/Day - M-F 8:30 am-12:30 pm

  • Number of Days/Week - 5

  • Lunch Provided- No

  • Charge - It's free!!

Hands-on activities include exploring tide-pools, handling sea critters, and more.
